Set among rolling vineyards of Bourgmont Winery is an award-winning destination known for handcrafted wines, refined hospitality, and effortless elegance. On July 18th, the winery becomes the perfect stage for an unforgettable charity event—one that beautifully aligns fine wine, iconic automobiles, and a shared passion for community.

Bourgmont’s thoughtfully designed grounds create a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces—an ideal setting to experience the sophistication of the Porsche brand. A curated display of extraordinary machines will be on display, inviting guests to admire the design, engineering, and artistry up close—and perhaps even schedule a future test drive.

Benefiting Starfish Project Foundation

Where your support goes

All proceeds from the silent auction and raffles will support the Starfish Project Foundation, a fully qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2014 and located in Olathe, Kansas. Their mission is simple and powerful: they connect lives, resources, and acts of kindness—focusing on the true needs of our community.

What They Do

  • Keep millions of dollars’ worth of perfectly good food out of landfills and redistribute it for free
  • Provide food for 1,500+ people each week
  • Provide full-size toiletry bags for children and students so they can live with dignity
  • Provide weekend food bags for kids without access to food
  • Assemble 200–250 blessing bags each month for the homeless and those in need
  • Provide clothing and shoes to individuals and families in need
  • On the second Saturday of every month: free haircuts, free health screenings, and a free potluck meal
  • When possible, assist with household items and furniture
  • Work closely with the Olathe School System and many other KC-metro schools to support families and help kids thrive

The Parable of the Starfish

One day, an old man walked along a beach littered with starfish washed ashore. He saw a young boy throwing them back into the ocean one by one.
“Why are you doing that?” the man asked.
“I’m saving these starfish,” the boy replied.
The old man chuckled, “There are thousands of starfish and only one of you. What difference can you make?”
The boy tossed another starfish into the water and said,
“I made a difference to that one.”
