Twas the night of THE Christmas party for our Kansas City Region PCA. The air was chilly but clear as the Porsche club faithful gathered on December 3rd from far and near.
This year the club changed our venue to the Cedar Creek Clubhouse, made available by Stan and Debra Thorne, current Zone 10 representative and club Vice President elect.
We entered the Hearth Room to greetings and a warm, crackling fire. Everyone came in their fun, festive holiday attire. It didn’t take long to hear members laughing as they relived the year’s events while enjoying delicious hors d’oeuvres and tasty libations.
Adorned in his jolly red sweater, President Fred Quintana soon assembled us to make a champagne toast; “Gratitude for another great year of friendships made, an abundance of events, AND more occasions to drive our beautiful Porsches! Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!
A bow filled staircase led us down to the dining room. It was filled with garlands, glitzy trees, decorative Christmas packages, waterfall curtains of sparkling twinkle lights and glittery table centerpieces. One lucky person from each table won the privilege of taking a centerpiece home!
The dinner buffet was catered by Sugar & Spice of Parkville, MO. The food was wonderful and the desserts were amazing! More than one piece of cake made it to many plates!
Many thanks to all who participated in making this evening one to remember. The effort to produce such a perfect party is much appreciated. The time, talent, and dedication in making the beautiful decorations, putting them up, taking them down and moving all the tables was a significant effort.

Porsches are what bring us together. 80 club members were able to participate in this year’s 2022 holiday party. Each year it is a joy to be a part of this tradition of celebration! We hope to see you this coming year 2023!
