Aristocrat’s New Diamond
By the time you are electronically flipping through this issue of Der Sportwagen, Aristocrat’s shiny new gem, the Porsche showroom and service center will be in operation.
The once crowded oval display and sales office building has been repurposed strictly for Alfa Romeo and Maserati sales. Just to its south, directly across the drive sits Porsche’s massive stand alone sales and service edifice. Here a light, bright and airy feel permeates throughout.
Taking your Porsche in for service is now a whole new experience. After approaching the northwest corner of the new structure, you wheel into an enclosed service check in center. There diagnostic equipment can be utilized to help quickly discover issues needing attention. From that area, patrons enter the showroom where silver, gray and white colors brighten every inch, from floor to ceiling. Your eyes are drawn up to the northeast wall above eight foot glass windows. Here, billboard like photos of racing and vintage Porsches hang beside a Cayenne sized video screen, showing various Porsche activities.
Eventually, after being teased by the variety of Porsches strategically staged before you, one strolls to the customer’s lounge. On its back wall, glass panels give you a bird’s eye view of the entire building’s long service floor below.
Of course, sales and finance offices plus literature and informational kiosks fill additional areas. There is also a dedicated indoor new car delivery room which occupies a corner next to the showroom.
So, get your mind off of the winter doldrums by driving over to Aristocrat’s beautiful new campus bangle. Be sure to check your email in a few months for an invitation to the Grand Opening of the Porsche Palace.
